Evidently the Rome Daily Sentinel, like the media in Utica, thinks it newsworthy that the area’s premiere civic organization aimed at promoting positive change has take the rare step of endorsing a particular project. The unprecedented decision of The Genesis Group, Greater Utica Chamber, Mohawk Valley EDGE and The Community Foundation to speak with one voice in this manner and stand side by side with the area’s bipartisan political leadership speaks volumes.
*Any reasonable person would agree that this demonstrates widespread support for our region’s new medical center.
*Any reasonable person would concede that the greater Utica area has complained for years, if not decades, about a perceived lack of state investment in support for economic renewal here.
*Any reasonable person would now welcome the largest-ever state investment in our area’s healthcare and economic development needs.
Any. . . reasonable . . .person.
Let’s all be reasonable.
